Saltana started in 2008 as a single-vehicle hauling operation outside the Khewra salt mines. Sixteen years later we run an end-to-end export company shipping to over 200 American buyers — but the family at the centre hasn’t changed.

We believe Himalayan salt is one of the most extraordinary minerals on the planet — formed from a primordial sea trapped beneath the Himalayas 250 million years ago. Our job is to move it to the people who want it, without diluting either its quality or its story.
Every container we ship is traceable to a specific cavern, a specific shift, and a specific batch of testing. Our American buyers — from spice houses in Brooklyn to spa-supply distributors in California — count on that traceability for their own brands.
